Gawad Kalinga
Child Youth Development Program
We are bringing the Lifesavers program and the Maximum Intelligence system to the Child Youth Development of Gawad Kalinga Taguig composed of 10 building sites. We are focused on the youth aged 14-21 in their SIGA program. Our goal is to increase their grade averages and to get 10% more scholarship passers. We want to inculcate the Maximum Intelligence System in the youth along with vocational skills like preparation for Call Centers, electrical and plumbing to enable them to overcome and thrive in life's challenges.

This project was started by the Immaculate
Concepcion Charismatics sisters, specifically Jessamine Saliendra, Mean Napalla Balbero and Rose Diaz.
YLAM came into the picture and now helps support the steady feeding of bodies, minds and souls of 50 children every Saturday.
Our programs are God-centered but can also include topics within the Maximum Intelligence curriculum. The areas involved are within the Immaculate Concepcion Parish. This is guided and spearheaded by Fr. Dari Dioquina of the same parish.
We have breakfast, share a talk and some games, sprinkle it with a lot of prayers, and finally share lunch together with the kids.
